What's on this Sunday, 2nd of April

It’s never too young to start learning about the environment, which is why at Eden Gardens we love to encourage Nature Play.  This Sunday we have our Sustainability Festival on at Eden Gardens Macquarie Park.  Kids are included with a crafty kids set-up where twigs, stigs, seeds and leaves will all be reworked into mobiles, cards and other cool craft.  It’s free and will be on from 10am till 1pm.  We also have kids paint and pot workshops for you to get your hands dirty.

We are so excited to announce that Taronga Conservation Society is going to be here on Sunday at noon to join Gloria Florez and the Forest Ambassadors.  They will be running an Art We are so excited to announce that Taronga Conservation Society is going to be here on Sunday at noon to join Gloria Florez and the Forest Ambassadors.  They will be running an Art Adventure at noon which will explain all about the Regent Honeyeater program, and involve some interactive art and a trip to find the honeyeaters and other critters in the amazing work by Gloria Florez called The Lost Habitat.  It's free and you can book in here.  They will be on after Sydney Wildlife Rescue at 10am when Bev Young from the Northern Sydney chapter comes and explains how to create a backyard friendly garden for birds, lizards and mammals in your own garden.  Bookings are suggested for both talks so you don’t miss out.

Anyone of course can learn loads from our expert talks and fun workshops, and Clarence Slockee from Gardening Australia is always great for a yarn.  He will be on at 11am.
