Eden Gardens inspires students external projects |
We are working with The University of Newcastle Faculties of Education & Arts and Science & Information Technology to provide the opportunity for student art and sculpture to be displayed to a wider audience through the unique environment of our Art gallery, display gardens and retail spaces.
Eden Gardens hosts an annual exhibition of final year students in our Art gallery. Other works by the artists retail through our gift shop and garden centre.
Eden Gardens provides a site of sculptural, environmental and architectural gardening inspiration for students to experience whilst completing their external projects.
Together we are working on a Collaborative grant to support post graduate students in further study.
"The University of Newcastle and Eden Gardens are collaborating on innovative student research and educational opportunities in the Creative Arts and Design. This unique approach to education and the arts in a non traditional environment facilitates a stimulating connection between the University of Newcastle, Eden Gardens and the wider community."
Professor Kevin McConkey, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic)
