Our edible gardens at Eden contains a huge range of fruits, herbs and vegetables. There is a citrus allée with lemons, oranges, grapefruit and limes, as well as a range of Australian native finger limes. Down at the bottom of the garden there are more 'bush tucker' plants, including lilly pillies, native peach - also known as quandong lemon myrtle. We also boast a large collection of tropical fruits, like custard apples, mangosteen, avacadoes and figs. An olive grove is a main feature of the garden and each year its harvest is pickled. Many vegetables are grown seasonally here too, with plump tomatoes, greens and herbs, as well as edible flowers such as nasturtium, regularly being added to the menu. This unusual cucemelon is a climbing plant that grows over an arbour in the edible exhibition bed, and there is also have a lovely herb spiral.
